HCG HUCOG is a hormone that aids in the proper development of an egg within a woman's ovary and triggers egg release during ovulation. HCG HUCOG is utilized to induce ovulation and treat infertility in women, as well as to enhance sperm production in men. Additionally, HCG HUCOG can be administered to young boys whose testicles have not descended into the scrotum as expected, which may result from a pituitary gland issue. HCG HUCOG might also be prescribed for other uses not specified in this medication guide.

HCG HUCOG comes in injectable forms of 2000 IU, 5000 IU, and 10000 IU. The preferred methods of administration for Hucog are either subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. The generally recommended dosage of Hucog for treating Cryptorchidism is 4000 IU, to be given three times a week over a three-week period. For Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, the suggested dose is between 500–1000 IU of Hucog three times weekly for three weeks, after which the same dosage can be continued at two times per week for an additional three weeks.

HCG HUCOG should not be administered to pregnant women or nursing mothers. Individuals with hypersensitivity, precocious puberty, or prostate cancer should refrain from using HCG HUCOG as these conditions are contraindicated. It is also not safe to administer Hucog to individuals with liver, kidney, heart, or asthma conditions.
